The Moist///Scan^® MA-500 is the world’s most popular on-belt microwave moisture sensor.

Powered by Callidan’s Moist///Scan^® patented microwave moisture measurement technique, the MA-500 provides real-time information on product moisture via a local HMI or through seamless integration with the plants DCS.

The MA-500 outputs both analog and digital data enabling immediate manual process adjustment and real-time process automation. The MA-500 is typically used to control conveyor belt speed, dosing equipment, spray bars and resident time in dryers.

In conjunction with weight measuring devices the MA-500 online microwave moisture sensor is used in the mining & mineral processing industry for volume reconciliation from pit to port.

Easily installed across the face of the belt, the MA-500 does not interfere with product flow on the conveyor.
