MA-800 Probe - moisture sensor
The MoistScan®
MA-800 moisture sensors features a probe-sensor design making it ideal for use in fluid
bed dryers, ovens, cookers, mixing vessels, storage vessels, silos and
bins.
Using low-emission microwave transmit-receive technology developed by
Callidan Instruments, in combination with the MoistScan® patented
microwave measurement technique, the MA-800 generates a microwave field
spherical in shape. The moisture in material passing within the field is
continuously measured.
The probe-sensor is interchangeable with a range of designs to suit
particular materials.
The standard probe housing is constructed of HDPE making the MA-800
abrasive-resistant in most situations. For highly abrasive conditions a
ceramic housing is available.
The MoistScan® MA-800 moisture sensor can be customized to comply with
industry-specific safety, health and hygiene standards for mining &
mineral processing, food processing, building product manufacturing and
chemical manufacturing.
